Plans should change when life does
A financial plan that cannot be revised is a brochure. Life will not wait for the original spreadsheet.
The fourth step in our process is the one people skip: review and enhance.
A new role, a child, a move between countries, a sale of a business, a parent who now needs support — any of these can make last year’s allocation the wrong tool. That does not mean the original work was wasted. It means the work is unfinished.
Review is not a search for a higher return. It is a check that the plan still matches the life in front of you. Sometimes the right change is small. Sometimes it is waiting.
